History

In the middle of 1962, Arthur Brown, Neil Tuckwell and John Newman hatched the idea of forming a university cricket club given the number of talented cricketers who attended the University but played for District Clubs. Approximately twelve interested persons attended the first meeting of the Club in July 1962 at Room E7 of the Childers Street complex.
